SEE HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Virgin Longleaf Pine covered nearly 70 million acres of the United States' southeastern coastal plain.
Many of these trees reached heights of 175 feet, and took from 200 to 500 years to mature.
An inch of old growth heart pine can have upwards of 30 rings. New growth pine has only 6 to 8 rings per inch.
Only 3% of the original Longleaf Heart Pine forests remain. They are now protected.
THESE THINGS INSPIRE US
THESE THINGS INSPIRE US
Once there was a tree and she loved a little boy.
And every day the boy would come and he would gather her leaves
and make them into crowns, and play king of the forest.
He would climb up her trunk, and swing from her branches and eat apples. And they would play hide-and-go-seek. And when he was tired,
he would sleep in her shade. And the boy loved the tree....very much.
And the tree was happy.
- The Giving Tree By Shel Silverstein
Respect for all that a tree offers has always been our passion, and this is guiding principle in our business model. Reclaiming and bringing back to life the true natural beauty of a tree so that it is seen, felt, and loved again in a different light and form is what brings out the inner child in all of us.

THESE PEOPLE RECOMMEND US
Dear Chronicle Millworks,
Please accept this short note of gratitude to tell you how much our company is enjoying our conference room table. The craftsmanship and “story” behind the table has exceeded our expectations. We have had numerous positive comments about our table which leads to the historical value of the materials used in its production. It is definitely a conversation piece in our office.
We are honored to have this piece of history in our new conference room and will cherish it for years to come. The table is a custom creation than can be handed down to future generations. Sincerely,
Jeff Howe, Jr. - Exec. VP Custom Building Systems.

A single tree can absorb CO2 at a rate of 48 lbs. per year.
The process of producing reclaimed wood flooring uses 13 times less cumulative energy than that of producing virgin wood flooring
An acre of trees absorbs enough CO2 over one year to equal the amount produced by driving a car 26,000 miles
Only 8 to 9 million acres of old growth trees are left in the United States
